Resources In order to strengthen the international competitiveness of Taiwan's biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, the government has adopted many strategies, including fully respecting market functions by continuing a program of economic liberalization and improving the investment environment through better use of production factors such as abundant manpower, technology, land and capital. By offering a beneficial environment for entrepreneurship, investment
and growth, Taiwan now has a sound industrial foundation with great
potential for further development. With foresight, the government is
proposing Taiwan as a "global operations center" based on an existing
solid foundation, which will serve as a blueprint for Taiwan's long-term
industrial development. |
